Bedford combines the joys of a small town living with the conveniences of a large metro. Bill wants to promote and enhance our beautiful neighborhoods.

Bill Thurlow earned his B.A. in Accounting and IT at the University of Texas at Dallas. He has served as a Senior Director of Corporate Systems and Operations, overseeing million-dollar projects. He has also held senior positions in Program Management and Product Management at multiple large companies.
Even during demanding corporate jobs, Bill chose to give back to the community. Bill and his wife hosted exchange students from Germany and France. When his children were high school, Bill volunteered for the Band Booster club and drove the instrument truck.
Today Bill enjoys mentoring young people. He leads a church life group, teaches classes on Biblical Citizenship, works part-time at Lowe's, and serves on the Board of Directors for Texas Trail Challenge Club. His goal is to live a life of authentic service with true Texan honesty and resolve.
Bill Thurlow was born in Kansas, but he moved to Texas as quick as he could. He has called Bedford home for 42 years.
Bill is happily married to his wife Annette of 53 years. He has three children and ten grandchildren.
For Bill, faith and family are the key ingredients. He enjoys riding horses and spending time with his grandchildren.
Election Day Voting is Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Pat May Center. Early Voting is April 20-28, 2026 at the Bedford Public Library.
